I had the same problem and got dumb looks at the dealership when I asked about this (not so unusual). I used black tie wraps and connected the loops to the bottom/horiziontal leg of the supports, the fender rail forward , and turn signal post aft. They're inconspicuous and have been fine for several months. Hope that helps.
